Contribution to Society

MEKTEC’s Charter of Corporate Behavior states, “As a good corporate citizen, we will actively participate in communities and contribute to their development.” We position local communities as one of our key stakeholders. As a company with roots in communities, we strive to remain a trusted, cherished presence that these communities take pride in, and value dialogue and collaboration with them. We also focus on fostering and supporting the next generation that will shape the future while promoting initiatives toward the realization of a sustainable society.

Our Activities

  Greening Activity at our Longshan Plant in China

  Employee volunteers planted trees at our Longshan Plant. A total of 20 trees and 1,610 flowers were carefully planted one by one, which enhanced the plant's greenery and contributed to creating a lush environment for the local community.

  Blood Donation Activities at Our Worldwide Locations

  Blood donation volunteer activities are conducted mainly at our locations in Thailand, China, and the other regions. Through these ongoing efforts, we support the healthcare systems of local communities.

  Educational Support Activities

  As part of our support for the next generation, we provide scholarships in Vietnam to students who are striving to pursue their studies despite challenging circumstances. In China, we participate in an industrial park project to promote initiatives that create educational opportunities for children.

  Conservation Activities for the Near-Threatened “Sagiso” (White Egret Flower) Orchid

  At the Ushiku Plant in Japan, employees participate in the conservation and cultivation of the Sagiso orchid, a near-threatened species native to Japan. Through these activities, we deepen understanding of local ecosystems and aim to contribute to ecosystem conservation and harmonious coexistence with nature.
